9/17/2006 - This year's Hillside/TCCCC Lobster Bake went off without a hitch. Thanks go out to all of the members of both organizations for lending a helping hand to make the Lobster Bake happen and thanks to everyone who bought a ticket and enjoyed a Lobster - or two. If you stayed around for the DJ, Cougar Entertainment, later on in the day then you already know, it was a blast, and what a crowd! It's great to see everyone out and having fun. I just posted some new information about the 4th Annual Children's Miracle Network Trap Shoot which will be happening on October 8th so go check it out. Also, if you haven't heard, stop in on Friday nights from 8 PM to 12 PM after the Home Varsity Panther Football games. This is something new that the board wanted to give a run at and see how it goes. We tried it after the game against Troy and we think it went over pretty well. Check back soon for a run down of fall and winter sporting activities going on at the club. I'm currently gathering up information and should have some new updates within the next week. If anyone has a used Lighted Arrow Letter Sign, with or without an actual arrow, that they want to get rid of then send me an e-mail at jdj@blossburg.org.
9/9/2006 - I just wanted to thank all of the members who came out to the Labor Day Party held at the club. Everyone had a great time and it was the perfect way to end the summer. On the 16th we'll be having a DJ, Cougar Entertainment playing from 7-11PM. Don't forget, officer nominations occur at September's membership meeting and officer elections occur at the October membership meeting. The Corn Sign-up sheet has been placed by the books at the door. We'll have the sheet out there from 9/2/2006 to 10/7/2006. Corn pickup will be on January 14, 2007. There's a 3 bag limit and you have to pick it up your self.
7/31/2006 - The Stanley Bombaski Memorial Sportsmans Challenge was a big success. Everyone that stopped by had a great time and everyone is really looking forward to it for next year. You should see the results posted on the web site soon, so keep an eye out. Thanks to all of you who attended the steak dinner and stayed for the band White River on June 24th. We had a really good turnout and we're setting dates for more. I think I've heard Jess wispering about another band! I just want to remind everyone that the officers are always happy to hear your comments and suggestions. If there's something you want brought to the membership, bring it up to an officer or write a letter and drop it off at the club before the board meetings so we can bring it to the membership on meeting night. When the temperatures are rising, just remember, the AC's on, the friends are plenty and we're open!

If you'd like to see more of this kind of entertainment then please speak up and we'll see what we can do. Don't forget the 2nd Coyote hunt going on this weekend. Hopefully I'll have the results up Sunday night. The 2006 3D Archery schedule and shoot results can be found by going to the Archery Page and clicking on the 3D Archery Page link or just click here.
